Criteria
Senior Care Assistants must have a level 3 qualification in Health & social care (or appropriate equivalent), a minimum of 6 months paid experience within a Nursing/Residential setting and experience in medication management. Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
- Completed and signed Application form
- Proof of Identity (Passport or Birth certificate & Licence/photographic ID)
- Proof of qualification
- National insurance proof
- Proof of address (utility bill)
- Health Declaration (verified by Practitioner)
- NISCC Certificate/proof of registration
- Willingness to undertake Access NI Check
Successful applicants will be required to complete In house induction training to include:
- Moving and Handling
- Basic Life Support and First Aid
- Infection Control
- Safe Guarding of vulnerable adults
- Fire Safety
- Health and Safety
- Record Keeping
- Basic Food safety
- Basic Medication management
